We have prepared this website to help answer common questions concerning Plastic Surgery and our office practice procedures. Amarillo Plastic Surgery is dedicated to providing quality "One on One" service to our patients. Good doctor - patient relations are based on mutual understanding and trust. We make every effort to explain your diagnosis, proposed treatment, medications and future outlook. If something is not clear, please do not hesitate to ask the doctor or one of the staff questions. It is our goal to provide quality surgery in a relaxed, pleasant and friendly atmosphere.
We are committed to providing personal and professional support to our patients. Dr. Richard M. High and his staff have a combined 61 years of service in the Texas panhandle in the art and practice of plastic surgery
Dr. High is a native Texan born in Abilene, Texas. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Abilene Christian University and attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Dr. High's general surgery and plastic surgery residencies were at West Virginia University and the University of Cincinnati with additional training in cosmetic surgery with the famed Doctor's Baker, Gordon and Stuzin in Miami, Florida. He also spent time training with Dr. Carl R. Hartrampf, developer of the T.R.A.M. Flap Autologous Breast Reconstruction.
Dr. High's hobbies include hunting, game management and ranching. He is married to Rebecca Martin High of Nashville, Tennessee and has two children, Amy and Adam. Dr. High has been in private practice since 1988.
It is Dr. High's goal to provide quality medical services in a pleasant, efficient and friendly atmosphere. We want our patients to feel comfortable not only with the doctor but with the staff as well.
